Pear drops, peach skin with herbal undertones combine with a crisp multi-layered textured finish to create a fine example of this great variety. Inhibiting malolactic fermentation has preserved crisp natural acids which highlight the varietal fruit of this wine. Drinking well now. Maximum cellaring 2 years.

Pale lemon in colour. A subtle combination of grassy, tropical melons and passionfruit aromas. Full rich passionfruit and honeydew palate, crisp acidity and finish. Great with seared scallops, spicy prawn salad.

The Enterprise Cabernet Sauvignon is a full flavoured rich dry red, showing lots of sweet fruit. Rich berry fruit and supple drying tannins are supplemented by gentle oak. Grown entirely on terra rosa soil, the wine has the rich chocolate fruit and elegant natural tannins of the Clare Valley’s best low cropiing cabernets.

Irvine Wines in Sth Australia’s Eden Valley are known for their outstanding Merlots. The Grand Merlot has long been recognised as one of Australia’s most respected. The 1988 won the World Merlot Competition from hundreds of entrants & the wine repeated the feat in ‘97. This exotic, full-bodied, powerful Merlot displays lavish quantities of toasty French oak. Aged for 3 to 4 yrs prior to bottling.

This Hand Picked Riesling is a blend from grapes grown on Knappsteins own vineyards & selected growers. Delicate lemon lime & orange blossom are dominant. The palate has a lemon lime fruit intensity. A full rich middle palate & lovely crisp acid helps to emphasise the long fruit finish. As with other great Clare Riesling Vintages, 20 yrs plus careful cellaring will reward the patient wine lover.

100% Pinot Noir grape. Vintage 2002 was rather cool with quite a long slow ripening period in both the Great Southern and Pemberton regions. Deep brick red in colour. Aroma of fresh strawberries with cedar & a hint of sweet toffee. The palate is soft & subtle & full of strawberries. Forest floor hints & smoky oak & a fabulous strawberry finish. Great with a Mushroom Risotto & Cheeses.

This classic ‘Bordeaux blend’ reflects the ample warmth of the McLaren Vale climate. Rich in ripe blackberry and plum flavours, with complex notes of dark chocolate and coffee. 10-15 year cellaring. The most recent vintage 2001, as exhibited by Hill of Gold Vineyard, won the 2002 Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show.

Print Shiraz is Mitchelton’s flagship wine made from highly prized parcels of fruit & is the most intense expression of Central Victorian Shiraz in the Mitchelton style. The original print works are on permanent display at the winery. Deep black ruby in colour, aromas of mocha chocolate & plum pudding with a hint of spice & pipe tobacco that makes this wine so enticing, seductive & refined.

Rich red in colour. Very attractive fresh cherry & chocolate aromas. The intense rich black cherry flavours which fill out the middle palate are backed by just the right amount of tannins. Delicious current drinking, but has the depth & structure to age for at least 5 years. A very versatile wine that can be consumed as a cafe style or with mild Asian food, but will also accompany a good steak.

The Airstrip is a blend of Marsanne, Roussanne & Viognier & exhibits complementary aromas derived from all three varieties as well as length, texture and structure. The Marsanne adds white peach & melon flavours, viscosity & persistence to the blend whilst the Viognier lends delicate rose aromas, apricot flavours and body. The Roussanne provides the final crucial elements of texture and structure.
